Chad R. Williamson, Ph.D.
Dr. Chad Williamson is an Associate Wildlife Biologist® and Assistant Professor at Minot State University. He earned his Ph.D. at Michigan State University in 2021 and his M.S. and B.S. at Ball State University in 2016 and 2013, respectively. Dr. Williamson is a wildlife ecologist that studies wildlife-habitat relationships, human-wildlife interactions, and the spatial ecology of mammals. To date, much of his research has focused on elk responses to habitat suitability and trail-based recreational use in Michigan, and the survival and space-use of white-tailed deer fawns across and urban-rural gradient in southern Indiana. Dr. Williamson teaches a wide range of courses relating to wildlife ecology, conservation, and management.
Becca is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Minot State University. Her primary research interests are in entomology and comparative cognition, particularly the cognitive abilities and feeding behaviors of native wasps and bees. She plans to pursue a PhD in entomology in 2024.

Brennan is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Minot State University. Her lifelong passion for wildlife conservation and research has led her to pursue a career as a wildlife biologist. During the summer of 2023, she worked at Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks and hopes to return to the agency in the future.
Mark is a graduate of the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo Programme (A.S in Zoo Animal Technology) and Minot State University (B.A in Biology). His primary interest and passion is in animal care, wildlife conservation, and research. Mark plans to pursue a career with AZA zoos and/or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Carson is a graduate of Minot State University (B.A in Biology). He currently works and guides hunts at Broadmouth Canyon Ranch in Idaho. Carson plans to work for the Idaho Fish and Game where he can continue working with big game, such as elk .
Peyton is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Minot State University. Her only goal is to "not work a day in my life", which is why she is pursuing a career focusing on her passion for the outdoors. Peyton hopes to work and reside in Montana after graduation.
